About RCMC

Dena Y. Reeves, RN, BSN, is the Principal and Senior Consultant for Reeves Care Management Consulting, LLC (RCMC). Ms. Reeves is a successful healthcare consultant leading organizations to improve through best practice program implementation, quality improvement, project management, staff training, and NCQA accreditation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has twenty years of progressive healthcare experience, including a wealth of experience as a Registered Nurse with over 22 years of experience dedicated in Case Management and Utilization Management. 

Prior to starting Reeves Care Management Consulting, LLC., Ms. Reeves served as the Director of Health Services, Manager of Utilization Management and Manager of High Risk Maternity/ NICU programs for a nationally recognized managed care organization. She also has several years of solid experience as a Case Manager and Utilization Review Nurse for Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid populations gaining valuable experience in Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement criteria and concurrent review guidelines.  

Ms. Reeves has been integral in program development, including readiness assessments, policy review and development, customized staff training, and audits, system review and mock surveys for over a dozen health plan accreditation and certification surveys. In this role, she has gained a reputation as an expert in NCQA Health Plan Accreditation,Case Management, and Utilization Management accreditation standards, and as a result, assisted health plans achieve high survey results for successful accreditation and re-accreditation.
